Carole Nunnally is our featured artist whose popular watercolor paintings span a host of coastal themes. Skillfully capturing the natural light and sense of place of her subjects, Carole Nunnally has established herself as a popular multi-media artist. Her art interprets the warmth, wonder, magic, and spirituality of her subjects. With a subtle brush stroke she demonstrates her love for Hatteras Island in the documentation of local everyday scenes and people.

Nettie Price is an artist from Reading, PA. A former Math & Science teacher in the Prison & Youth Detention, she started by painting her students as quirky cats and dogs to make her smile. Soon she realized it made others smile too and there began the story of Nettie Price Sparkling Art. Below are some examples of her work.

Charles Leonard
Charles Leonard has created hand colored etchings and watercolors for over thirty years and more recently, hand colored giclees. His work spans several themes such as fish, golf, cigars, and animals. His studio is based in Springfield, Georgia, and his art has been distributed around the world. Below are some examples of his work.

Jen Callahan
Jen as an award winning artist is often recognized for her style with receiving numerous Best in Show awards and published recognition. Blue Skies Gallery notes: “In the way that art can portray realistic depictions of life or an alternate version of reality, Callahan masterfully captures the motion of animals in their natural setting. Yet the amplified colors of her palette boost the scene into the surreal.”

Jane Partin
"My love of the Chesapeake Bay area, wildlife and dogs, especially retrievers, is very evident in my work. These are usually subjects in my paintings, but I always try to tell a story-to express my own ideas. I travel extensively to set up and photograph scenes to paint. I work mostly in watercolors, oils, and acrylics.

Audrey Linstrom
Audrey Linstrom is an artist and designer who has developed and pursued her artwork since childhood. She studied design and illustration at the Fashion Academy of New York and has explored many aspects of commercial and fine art during her career. Audrey's paintings portray her emotional response to the beauty that surrounds us. Her canvases are filled with charming children, beautiful women, and tranquil settings -- woodland vistas, waterways, and ocean beaches.
